Terrie Lynn Kendrick, aged 62, of Mayville, passed away on February 28, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on June 6, 1961, in Roseville, Michigan, to parents Robert and Rita Thayer, Terrie spent her early years in New Haven before making homes in Port Huron and ultimately settling in Mayville for the past two decades.

In the early 1980s, Terrie crossed paths with the love of her life, Steve Kendrick, a military man, with whom she would build a cherished family. Throughout her life, Terrie exemplified the essence of a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, finding her truest joy in the company of her family. Her love knew no bounds, and her tender care and affection will forever reside in the hearts of those who knew her.

Among her passions, Terrie found solace in the simple pleasures of life. Savoring moments with a cup of tea in hand, exploring treasures at thrift stores and garage sales, finding joy in watching Hallmark Christmas movies year-round, and indulging in the occasional visit to the casino brought her moments of contentment and peace.

The memories of Terrie's laughter, warmth, and unwavering love will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate to have known her and the legacy of her kindness and the brightness of her spirit will endure.

Beloved mother of Brian Kendrick, Tina (Doug) Chitwood, Michael (Jessica) Kendrick, Jenniferose Lee, Richard (Cassandra Martin) Osborne, Rebecca Kendrick, Timothy Kendrick, Johnathan Kendrick, and Angelrenee (Charles McNabb) Kendrick; loving grandmother of Dayvion, Bethany, Kaiden, Landen, Cameron, Destiny, David, Kayla, Adelynn, Cove, and 18 other cherished grandchildren; dear great-grandmother of 6. Terrie is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends,

Terrie is preceded in passing by her cherished husband Steve Kendrick, children Kristy Kendrick & Daniel Kendrick, siblings James, Bob, Don, and Twila; and her parents Robert and Rita Thayer.

Visitation to take place on Sunday, March 10 from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a service at 5:00 PM.
